Alison Schrag, a Fish and Wildlife Technician in New York, is dedicated to protecting ecosystems and promoting biodiversity. Inspired by upstate New York trips, she earned a degree in Environmental Science from SUNY ESF, focusing on wildlife biology.

At the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Alison restores habitats, monitors endangered species, and educates communities about conservation. Her projects include urban wildlife management, aquatic habitat restoration, and endangered species surveys.

Passionate about outreach, Alison leads workshops and programs to inspire environmental stewardship. In her free time, she enjoys birding, hiking, and wildlife photography, using her work to raise awareness for conservation.
